During a recent visit to Miale Farm in Kasarani sub-county, accompanied by the Kasarani Sub-County Livestock Officer, Governor Sakaja highlighted the pivotal role of the Nairobi City County Government in supporting farmers to generate income from both livestock and farming activities. Mr. Ronald Sifuma, the Livestock Officer further reinstated the County Government’s commitment to providing farmers with the necessary information and guidance through well-managed farmers’ groups and coordinated machinery donations.
Modern farm equipment and technology, donated by the Nairobi City County Government, National Government, as well as various donors and non-governmental organizations, are empowering farmers to optimize yields and make informed decisions throughout the agricultural process.
